How to determine Instagram account native email

The original email is understood to be the email that the instagram account was originally registered with.

Often we are asked the question, why should we pay attention to the originality of Instagram mail at all? We answer - if the mail of the account is not native/not original, then in case of any suspicious actions Instagram will reset the account to the native mail and you may lose access to the account. Under suspicious actions can be perceived any action in Instagram, for example, an overabundance of likes per unit of time or a sudden change of login device.

To check your email for originality, the date of account registration and other information about the account:

1. log in to your account and follow the link https://www.instagram.com/download/request
2. fill in the required fields and click “Next”;
3. enter your account password on the next page;
4. you will receive a message with a link to the specified e-mail. After clicking on the link you will be presented with a button to download the data. Download the archive and unpack it;
5. open the index.html file in your browser. Check the list of possible e-mail addresses:
   • if the list is empty or only contains the address listed in the bundle, this is the first/original/native email;
   • if there are other addresses in the list, then the current e-mail address is NOT the original one.
